ABOUT THE ARTIST
I am a painter specialising in fine art pet and wildlife portraits. Pet portraits are my most regular commissions and I love creating paintings with a spark of life. My strength is capturing the character of the animal in its eyes and facial expressions. I have always loved animals and currently share my home with two cats, Troy and Abed.

I work most often in acrylic on canvas or paper. Acrylic allows me to create pet portraits in vibrant colours, without long drying times; acrylic on paper can be framed and canvas simply hung straight onto the wall. My style is vibrant, painterly and realistic. I also draw pet portraits using a range of tonal pencils.

Throughout the process of making a pet portrait, I keep you informed of its progress, by emailing pictures of the progress of the painting as it develops. If you prefer to wait and see the final product you have that option as well.
You can be confident that many hours of work and care go into these portraits. Whether you are interested in dog portraits, cat portraits, or other animals you will be delighted with the result, an original piece of fine art to commemorate your beloved pet.

There is a four week wait (plus postage time) for portraits to be completed. In the run up to Christmas this will be longer, so I recommend you contact me in September for Christmas presents to avoid being disappointed.
